MakeItHappen

Your data.

I build and run MakeItHappen on my own. So it is fair that you know exactly who can see your agency's work, what I can see, and what I do with it. Here it is in plain words.

Version 21 September 2026

The short version

The box on the signup form

It is ticked when you get there. Ticked means I can open your agency and query anything in it, whenever I want, with no limitation, without asking first, and without a notice each time. That covers tasks, clients and their contact details, projects, notes and the pictures in them, files, creative and its feedback, reminders, lead tables, time blocks, habits, who is on your team, and your team's messages.

Untick it and I will ask you before I go in, every time, except where something is broken in a way I cannot fix without looking. Nothing else about your account changes. You still get everything, you pay the same, and I will not treat you any differently.

The honest part: I own the database, so unticking the box does not make your data unreadable to me. It cannot.

What it changes is what I will do. I would rather write that down than let a tick box imply something it does not do. If you want me out of it entirely, the real answer is deleting the account, and I have put that at the bottom of this page.

What I can see, and what I do not do

What I can see

  • Anything stored in the database, whenever I want and with no limitation: tasks, clients and their contact details, projects, notes and the pictures in them, files, creative and its feedback, reminders, lead tables, time blocks, habits, who is on your team, and your team's messages.
  • Your agency as you see it, when I am helping you.
  • An email lands with me when you sign up and when you report a bug.

What I do not do

  • I do not touch your client list. I run an agency too. Your clients are yours. I do not contact them, add them to anything, or use them to decide who to approach.
  • I do not sell your data, and I do not hand it to anyone to market at you.
  • I do not read your notes out of interest.
  • I do not build anything from your work and put my name on it.

Things I genuinely cannot see

Files and links, worth knowing

A file you attach to a task, or a creative you put in an approval batch, is stored on a web link. Anyone holding that link can open it. That is deliberate: it is how you send a client a review link that works without a login. The links are long and not guessable, but treat them the way you would treat emailing the file.

Pictures inside notes are the exception. Those are private, and the link the app builds to show them stops working after an hour.

Where it is kept

Five companies touch it, and no others:

There is no analytics script and no advertising pixel inside the app. Nobody is watching what you click.

Getting it deleted

Email me and I will delete your agency and everything in it, and tell you once it is gone. No form, no retention window, no talking you out of it. If you just stop using it, nothing is deleted until you ask.

If this page changes

I will tell the agencies on MakeItHappen before it does, not after. Questions about any of it, or you want my access turned off: zac@makeitscale.com.au.

This page is about what I can see inside your account. For what is collected, why, and your rights over it, read the privacy policy.
