Privacy policy.
I build and run MakeItHappen on my own. This page is the full picture: what MakeItHappen collects, why, who else ever touches it, how long it is kept, your rights over it, and how you get it deleted. For exactly what I personally can see inside your account day to day, once you are in, read Your data instead. It is a shorter page, and the two never disagree.

The short version
- Two boxes, both yours to control. Both are ticked by default. Support access means I can query your whole agency, whenever I want, with no limitation. Untick either at signup, or email me later and I switch it off the same day.
- Your card never reaches MakeItHappen. Stripe takes the payment. I only ever see the subscription status and its dates.
- Ask and it is gone. Email me and I delete your agency and everything in it. No form, no waiting period.
What I collect when you request access
When you fill in the request form at /invite/request/, this is what is stored:
- Your name, email and Instagram handle.
- Your agency name and agency website. I fetch the website myself to check it is real before the request goes through, and I store whether it answered.
- Where the request came from: any campaign tags on the link, the page you landed on, and the page that sent you, if there was one.
- Your browser's user agent, and your IP address stored as a one-way hash. I never keep the raw address.
What is collected once you are in the app
Once your agency is set up, MakeItHappen holds whatever you and your team put into it: tasks, clients and projects, notes and the pictures in them, files, creative and its feedback, reminders, lead tables, time blocks, habits, and who is on your team. That is the same list Your data gives, because it is the same data. Read that page for exactly what I personally do and do not do with it.
Payment
MakeItHappen currently runs 3 days free, card required but nothing charged, then $1 USD a month for 3 months, then $149 USD a month, cancel any time. AI usage is not part of that price, it is paid per credit.
Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach MakeItHappen. I only ever store the Stripe customer and subscription id, the subscription status, and its dates (started, current period, trial end, cancelled). I never see or store your card number. I also keep a record of each invoice, its amount and status, and a link to Stripe's own copy of it, for my own bookkeeping.
The two consent boxes
The request form, and the sign-in screen, carry two boxes. Both are ticked by default, and both are yours to change: untick them there, or email me any time after.
Support access
- Ticked, I can open your agency and query anything in it whenever I want, with no limitation, without asking first, and without a notice each time. That covers tasks, clients and their contact details, projects, notes and the pictures in them, files, creative and its feedback, reminders, lead tables, time blocks, habits, who is on your team, and your team's messages.
- Untick it and I ask before I go in, every time, except where something is broken in a way I cannot fix without looking.
- Turn it off at signup, or later by emailing zac@makeitscale.com.au. I switch it off the same day.
Marketing
- Lets me use your agency's name, logo and results in MakeItScale's own marketing, and send you product and marketing email.
- Untick it at signup, or email zac@makeitscale.com.au later. I switch it off the same day.
- Turning it off never changes your account or your price.
The honest part on support access: I own the database, so unticking that box does not make your data unreadable to me. It cannot.
What it changes is what I will do. I would rather write that down than let a tick box imply something it does not do. See Your data for exactly what that means in practice.
Your clients' data is in here too
Your own clients' details sit in MakeItHappen because you put them there. They never agreed to anything with me, so it is on you to give them their own privacy notice, and to only add what you are allowed to.
I handle that data on your instructions, and I do not contact your clients or use their details to decide who to approach next. Ask and it is deleted, the same as anything else.
Who processes it
Five companies touch it, and no others:
- Supabase holds the database and your files. Their Asia Pacific region, in Mumbai.
- Vercel serves the app itself.
- Resend sends the emails the app sends you.
- Anthropic sees what you type into the quick task box, so Claude can turn it into a task. If you connect your own AI key, that is your key and your account.
- Stripe handles the payment. Card details go straight to them and never touch MakeItHappen.
No analytics or tracking
There is no analytics script and no advertising pixel inside the app. Nobody is watching what you click.
Retention and deletion
Email me and I delete your agency and everything in it, and tell you once it is gone. No form, no retention window, no talking you out of it.
Cancelling the subscription stops the billing. It does not delete anything. If you just stop using MakeItHappen, nothing is deleted until you ask.
Your rights
You can ask what I hold on you, ask me to correct something that is wrong, turn off support access or marketing consent at any time, or have it all deleted. Email me for any of it, and I will act on it myself, by hand.
If this page changes
I will tell the agencies on MakeItHappen before it does, not after. Questions about any of it: zac@makeitscale.com.au.
